Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to WALTIQ. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information is processed when you visit waltiq.com, contact WALTIQ, or use website features, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Data Controller: Obrtnička djelatnost "WALTIQ", vl. Behrić Mujo, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Contact: privacy@waltiq.com.

2. Information collected

Through the contact form, WALTIQ may collect:

  • Name
  • Work email address
  • Company (optional)
  • Project information you choose to share (what you need, project stage, timeline, budget range)
  • The message you write

Technical information may also be processed automatically, including server and security logs generated by WALTIQ's hosting infrastructure, performance metrics from Vercel Speed Insights, and — only where you grant analytics consent — usage information via Google Analytics 4, described in Section 11.

3. How information is collected

Directly from you, when you submit the contact form. Automatically, through standard web server operation and the analytics described in Section 11.

4. Purposes of processing

  • Responding to your inquiry
  • Evaluating a potential engagement
  • Operating and securing the website
  • Understanding aggregate website performance and usage

5. Legal grounds

Processing contact form submissions is based on your consent (by submitting the form) and on WALTIQ's legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries. Technical/security logs are processed based on WALTIQ's legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and operational. Google Analytics 4 is processed only based on your analytics consent, described in Section 11.

6. Service providers / processors

WALTIQ currently uses the following service providers:

  • Vercel — website hosting, infrastructure and performance monitoring
  • Zoho Mail — email communication, including contact form delivery
  • Google Analytics 4 — website usage analytics, only when you grant analytics consent

This list reflects providers actually in use and will be updated if that changes.

7. International transfers

Where a service provider processes data outside Bosnia and Herzegovina, WALTIQ relies on that provider's applicable safeguards for international data transfers.

8. Retention

General inquiries submitted through the contact form are reviewed and deleted after 24 months unless there is a legitimate business or legal reason to retain them longer. Communications related to an active client or project are retained in line with the applicable contract, tax, accounting and legal requirements. Google Analytics 4 event and user-level data is retained for 14 months.

9. Security

The contact form is submitted server-side, is validated and rate limited, and does not expose credentials or API keys in the browser. Submissions are not stored in a database beyond what is needed to deliver them by email.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and may object to or request restriction of certain processing. Contact privacy@waltiq.com to exercise these rights.

11. Google Analytics

WALTIQ may use Google Analytics 4, subject to your analytics consent, to understand how visitors use waltiq.com and to improve website performance, content and navigation. Analytics does not run until you choose "Allow analytics" in the cookie banner or Cookie settings.

Where enabled, Google Analytics 4 may process:

  • Pages/routes viewed
  • Interaction events (e.g. button clicks, form progress)
  • Browser and device information
  • Approximate geographic information
  • Referral and traffic source information
  • Campaign parameters where present in the URL

WALTIQ does not intentionally send Google Analytics any of the following: names, personal email addresses, phone numbers, form message content, raw contact-form submissions, or other directly identifying form data. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer — see the Cookie Policy for details.

12. Links to other websites

waltiq.com may link to third-party websites (for example, LinkedIn or GitHub). WALTIQ is not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites.

13. Children's privacy

waltiq.com is a B2B business website and is not directed at children. WALTIQ does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

14. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the website or applicable law. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
