The Challenge
A logistics workflow required a production-ready Android application for specialized POS hardware with NFC support, used for baggage and logistics handling. The application needed to be modular enough to adapt to hardware-specific constraints while remaining maintainable.
The Role
WALTIQ delivered the Android application end to end — from architecture through production launch — including the NFC integration layer for the specialized hardware.
The Approach
The application was built with Jetpack Compose and structured into modular components so that hardware-specific NFC handling stayed isolated from the core application logic. This kept the workflow logic testable and reusable even as the underlying POS hardware constraints evolved.
